Atal Marathon - Rules and Regulations:

Welcome to the Atal Marathon. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, please read and adhere to the following rules and regulations:
1. Registration:
a. Participants must register online through the official website.
b. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the event of event cancellation.
c. Participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

2. Age Categories:
a. Participants must compete in their designated age category.
b. Age categories are as follows:
- Amateur Group (5k): Ages above 40 years.
- Various Age Groups (Below 14, 16, 20 years): Half Marathon (21k).
- Open Group (10k): Male and Female.
- Open Group (Half Marathon - 21k): Male and Female.

3. Bibs and Timing Chips:
a. Participants must wear the assigned bib numbers prominently on the front of their attire.
b. Timing chips must be securely attached to the provided shoe as instructed.

4. Medical Clearance:
a. All participants must ensure their medical fitness for the chosen category.
b. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before participating.

5. Code of Conduct:
a. Participants must follow a code of conduct promoting fair play, sportsmanship, and respect for others.
b. Any form of cheating, doping, or unsportsmanlike behavior will result in immediate disqualification.

6. Race Route:
a. Participants must follow the designated race route.
b. Cutting the route is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.

7. Aid Stations:
a. Aid stations with water and medical assistance will be available along the route.
b. Littering is not allowed; participants must dispose of waste responsibly.

8. Timing and Results:
a. Official race times will be recorded electronically.
b. Results will be announced same day at venue of event.

9. Spectators:
a. Spectators must follow designated viewing areas.
b. Interference with the race or participants is not allowed.

10. Weather Conditions:
a. The event will proceed rain or shine, unless deemed unsafe by organizers.
b. Participants should prepare for varying weather conditions.

11. Photography and Media:
a. Official event photographers will capture images during the marathon.
b. Participants grant permission for the use of their likeness in promotional materials.

12. Disqualification:
a. Participants may be disqualified for violating rules or displaying unsportsmanlike conduct.
b. Decisions made by race officials are final.

13. Emergency Procedures:
a. Follow instructions from race officials and emergency personnel.
b. Emergency contact information must be provided during registration.
